The Finance Specialization prepares individuals for careers in the financial management of business, government, and not-for-profit entities.
The program provides students with specific skills in finance to complement the broad business competencies required of managers in a dynamic and global economy. Students will appraise the planning, funding, and investment decisions made by managers to create value for their organizations in the context of environmental, social, and governance risks and responsibilities. Students must examine best practices to meet the challenges of innovative and disruptive technologies, internationalization, intellectual property disputes, conflicts of interest, and other ethical dilemmas.
MBA in Business Analytics and Data Science
The Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Business Analytics prepares graduates to lead and manage organizations through mastery of broadly applicable core disciplines in global management, leadership, finance, and marketing, and by gaining specialized analytical skills tailored to analyzing and gaining business insights from large volumes of data.

The program focuses on traditional fundamentals of financial management and contemporary financial thought. The required prior knowledge of finance, accounting, and quantitative methods will be used in problem sets, case studies, and throughout the core and specialty courses in the finance program. Students examine best practices for an economy based on information technology and intellectual property in addition to traditional tangible assets. Study includes: issues of domestic and multi-national financial structures; ethics and regulation; and innovative financial management. These skill sets are increasingly required by business, government, and non-profit entities in a global environment.
