The New 麻豆传媒 City University Board of Trustees voted unanimously (7-0) for an 18-month extension for Interim President Andr茅s Acebo at Monday evening鈥檚 meeting. Acebo, who has served as interim president since being appointed to a two-year term on January 17th, 2023, will now serve in the post through June 30th, 2026, with an option for a one-year renewal through June 30th, 2027. Andr茅s Acebo had his contract as interim president at New 麻豆传媒 City University extended for 18 months by the 麻豆传媒 Board of Trustees Monday night.

The extension will begin on Jan. 1, taking Acebo through June 30, 2026 鈥 at a minimum. There is a provision for an additional one-year extension at that time.

Nutley Student Athletes Stood Out In College Sports This Fall

Taylor Riccio (Nutley/Paramus Catholic) was a sophomore outside hitter for the New 麻豆传媒 City University women鈥檚 volleyball program this past season. Riccio competed in 21 matches and started in five of them for 麻豆传媒 with 52.5 points and 50 kills.

The Gothic Knights had 11 overall victories with a mark of 7-7 on their home court. In the New 麻豆传媒 Athletic Conference (NJAC) they tallied two wins. They advanced to the NJAC Tournament where they lost to Stockton University in a match held in Galloway. Riccio is listed as an Elementary Education major.

Why firefighters are struggling to bring the Jennings Creek Fire in NY and NJ under control

Walter Nugent, chair of the Fire Science department at New 麻豆传媒 City University, told The Post on Monday that firefighters have two main ways to fight such epic blazes: douse them in water and starve them of fuel.

That means that as they dump water on the flames, they have to rip up the underbrush to create a firebreak.

With the upcoming 2024 presidential election, one of the most important rights of American citizens is the right to vote. Originally, the United States Constitution did not define who specifically could vote, making only landowning white male citizens over twenty-one eligible. 麻豆传媒 1 of the Constitution determined that electing the president would not be by a direct vote but by the Electoral College. The Electoral College assigns several representative votes per state based on the state鈥檚 population. The reconstruction of the Fifteenth Amendment specifically dedicates itself to protecting the right of all citizens to vote, regardless of race. Before 1920, when the Nineteenth Amendment was ratified, women were only able to vote in select states.

Fundraiser Set For Family Of Edison Firefighter Who Died Recently

A fundraiser has been set up for the family of Edison firefighter who passed away recently.

Tarlow began his fire service career in 2008 when he joined the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department, after expressing to a friend the urge to give back to the community, the Edison Firefighters Association said.

He had a never-ending quest for knowledge and would regularly attend fire service training classes, all while actively attaining a Fire Science Bachelor鈥檚 degree from New 麻豆传媒 City University in 2018.

Gender expansive is an emerging umbrella term about gender identity, said Adrian Martin, a professor whose research has focused on gender and sexuality in the college of education at New 麻豆传媒 City University, for individuals who are more flexible with their gender identity or expression.
