“On behalf of the entire New Â鶹´«Ã½ City University community, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of retired Ecuadorian Consul General Edmundo Alfonso Morales Suárez. Throughout his distinguished diplomatic service in New Â鶹´«Ã½ and Pennsylvania, he was a steadfast advocate for his homeland, particularly for the vibrant Ecuadorian community in our state, and a true partner to Â鶹´«Ã½. We are especially grateful for his pivotal role in facilitating the historic visit of Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa to our university in March 2024. His recent passing is a profound loss, and we stand with the Ecuadorian community in honoring the legacy of a dedicated diplomat, a cherished friend, and a tireless champion for his people.â€
