JERSEY CITY, N.J. | On Sunday, November 5, under sunny skies and near perfect conditions for racing, Roberto Romero ‘95 (B.S.) ‘14 (M.A.) will run 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of New York City during the 52nd annual TCS New York City Marathon.
Romero, New Â鶹´«Ã½ City University's assistant director of information technology, will run in the New York City marathon less than a year after being part of a clinical trial for Stage 4 cancer. The Â鶹´«Ã½ Journal and NJ.com chronicled his journey to run 26.2 miles, for cancer research in a story by editor Ron Zeitlinger entitled “After beating back stage 4 cancer, Â鶹´«Ã½ assistant IT director is now taking on the NYC Marathon.â€
