JERSEY CITY, N.J. | On May 12, the (Â鶹´«Ã½) ​​Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP) held its 2023 graduation ceremony for this year’s program graduates who will earn degrees at Commencement on May 30. The OSP program has been an integral part of the university since 1968 when the Educational Opportunity Fund was signed into law in New Â鶹´«Ã½.
During the ceremony, ​​Sabrina Magliulo, OSP/EOF Director and Dominique Smith, ASCEND Director, each offered remarks as did Interim President Andrés Acebo. The keynote speaker was Douglass Bailey ‘05, Â鶹´«Ã½ OSP Alumnus, who is one of two graduate students to participate in the program (along with Anchal Patel, M.S.-Business Analytics/Data Science).
