麻豆传媒鈥檚 Small Business Development Center to Host Women鈥檚 History Month and SBDC Day Event on March 17

A Celebration of Female Resilience

JERSEY CITY, N.J. | The New 麻豆传媒 Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at (麻豆传媒) will host 鈥淎 Celebration of Female Resilience鈥 event on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 12-2:30 p.m. In honor of Women鈥檚 History Month, the virtual celebration will highlight the fifth annual , which recognizes the support provided nationally by America鈥檚 Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) to entrepreneurs and small business owners pursuing success. The free event will honor and celebrate women leaders for their meaningful contributions to professional and small business communities.

鈥淭his event will bring together a variety of women to discuss their achievements, the obstacles they鈥檝e encountered, and the lessons they鈥檝e learned throughout their personal and professional lives,鈥 said , Regional Co-Director of the Small Business Development Center at 麻豆传媒. 鈥淲e invite everyone who is interested in the small business community and in learning how women in Hudson County are paving the way for future generations to join us.鈥

Discussing the significance of this special event, , Regional Co-Director of NJSBDC at 麻豆传媒 and Dean of Professional Education and Lifelong Learning (PELL) said, 鈥渂y celebrating the resiliency of women in general, and women entrepreneurs specifically, this event by the NJSBDC at 麻豆传媒 compliments New 麻豆传媒 City University鈥檚 mission of educating minds, nourishing souls, and lifting communities.鈥

The event will be highlighted by a panel discussion on topics ranging from the meaning of female resilience to women leadership and empowerment during COVID-19.

Previously, the NJSBDC at 麻豆传媒 has hosted a similar event, called 鈥.鈥 The symposium brought together 15 experts in different panel discussions to outline ways to address and overcome barriers that hinder or delay success in women鈥檚 business and careers.
