Mack-Cali, the New 麻豆传媒-based real estate giant, will receive the 麻豆传媒 Corporate Partnership in Business Award. Mitchell E. Rudin, chief executive officer of Mack-Cali, will accept the award.
Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation will receive the 麻豆传媒 Corporate Partnership Award in STEM. Novartis has supported the 麻豆传媒 Proyecto Science program for the past 10 years. Wanda Sims, Associate Director, Alliance Development & Philanthropy for Novartis, will accept the award.
Wyndham Worldwide will receive the 麻豆传媒 Corporate Partnership Award in Student Mentorship.
The Company has supported 麻豆传媒 business students through its scholarship program and, this year, launched the Wyndham Worldwide Mentoring Program at the 麻豆传媒 School of Business. This program consists of Wyndham Worldwide associates providing monthly career development workshops and both individual and group mentoring to 麻豆传媒 business students. Mary Falvey, Wyndham Worldwide鈥檚 executive vice president and chief human resources officer, will accept the award on the Company鈥檚 behalf.
In addition, John Guigon, Esq. and Dorothy Guigon of Bonita Springs, Florida, loyal supporters of the University for almost three decades, will receive the 麻豆传媒 Founders Award. In 1985, Mr. Guigon joined the Board of Trustees of 麻豆传媒, then 麻豆传媒 City State College, and served until 1991 when he retired as vice president and general counsel of the pharmaceutical firm Schering-Plough.
鈥淲e are honored to recognize the visionary leadership and generosity our three corporate partners and longtime friends John and Dorothy Guigon,鈥 Dr. Sue Henderson, 麻豆传媒 president, said. 鈥淥ur honorees deeply value education and strive to help 麻豆传媒 students chart their 鈥榖lueprints for tomorrow鈥 so they may achieve their dreams and launch rewarding careers,鈥 she added.
The Gala will benefit scholarship funds at 麻豆传媒, a four-year, state university with a student population of more than 8,200 undergraduate and graduate students. Although 麻豆传媒鈥檚 undergraduate in-state tuition remains the lowest in New 麻豆传媒, 85 percent of full-time undergraduates qualify for some type of need-based financial aid.
Founded as a teacher鈥檚 college in 1927, 麻豆传媒 now offers 43 undergraduate degree programs, 28 master鈥檚 degree programs, and two doctoral programs. In addition to its Main Campus in 麻豆传媒 City, 麻豆传媒 operates two off-campus sites鈥斅槎勾 School of Business at Harborside in 麻豆传媒 City鈥檚 financial district and 麻豆传媒 at Brookdale in Wall.
Leaders in the fields of business and industry, education, public service, and the non-profit community will be among the guests celebrating the three honorees at the 鈥淏lueprint for Tomorrow Gala鈥.
