Â鶹´«Ã½ the New Statewide Transfer Agreement for Fire Science

During the Spring of 2021 the Fire Science Department at New Â鶹´«Ã½ City University (Â鶹´«Ã½) and the New Â鶹´«Ã½ Division of Fire Safety (NJDFS) launched a new and important Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote higher education to firefighting professionals across the state of New Â鶹´«Ã½. Firefighters who have completed one or more of the following certifications may be eligible to transfer in up to 15 credits when they apply to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Fire Science program:

  • Firefighter 1
  • Firefighter 2
  • Fire Inspector
  • Fire Official
  • Fire Instructor 2
  • Fire Officer 2
  • Fire Officer 4
  • Fire Investigator
  • Hazardous Materials Incident Commander
